Solution for injection in a prefilled syringe

Human hepatitis B immunoglobulin

The active substance is human hepatitis B immunoglobulin 500 IU/ml.

Zutectra contains 150 mg/ml human plasma protein, of which at least 96% is immunoglobulin G (IgG).

Zutectra is used to prevent re-infection with hepatitis B in adults who had a liver transplant at least a week ago; they had to have the transplant due to liver failure caused by hepatitis B.

Zutectra is for subcutaneous injection only. Injection into a vein or blood vessel may cause allergic shock. Store and transport it refrigerated (2°C-8°C).
